Biological Surveys

Our biologists are skilled in the fields of wildlife ecology, rangeland management, botany, fire ecology, wetland ecology, and restoration ecology.

We regularly conduct surveys for:

• Land trend and ecological trend monitoring

• Sensitive plants and wildlife

• Biological baseline studies

• Wetland delineations

• Mitigation monitoring

• Fire mapping

• Fire emergency stabilization and rehabilitation monitoring

• Fire treatment effectiveness monitoring

• Fire effects

Natural Resource Survey, Mapping, and Monitoring

Land Condition and Ecological Trend

We have exceptional experience designing and implementing long-term programs using quantitative measures for vegetation condition and trend, soil quality, water quality, management focus species, and ecological process indicators. We also statistically analyze data acquired from the field and interpret it for managers and decision-makers. We recommend sampling designs that are cost-effective and efficient at getting to the key, early-warning indicators of ecological change.
